We are ready to get you registered to attend Jones Blackhurst Elementary. It's as easy as 1-2-3.
Please follow the steps below to register your child(ren) for school.
**Due social distancing restrictions, please do not bring your documents to the school. Email them to Ms. Vida at jjbregistration@nv.ccsd.net **

Register on the Infinite Campus Portal.

Email your online registration confirmation number, student(s) name, supporting documents, and proof of parent identification (driver's license, passport, state ID, or military ID)  to jjbregistration@nv.ccsd.net

Receive your child's classroom and teacher assignment.

Step 1
Transfer from another CCSD school icon

  • Each new school year, to re-enroll your child already attending a CCSD school

  • Your child is transferring to our school from another school in CCSD

  • To register a new kindergartener who already has a sibling attending any CCSD school

  • To register a new kindergartener who has no siblings who have ever attended any CCSD school

Step 2

Due to the Covid-19 social distancing protocols, we cannot accept documents at the school.

If your child has been attending another CCSD school, you will need to provide the following:

For proof of address, you must bring one of the following:

  • recent utility bill

  • rent receipt

  • residence lease or sales contract

  • withdrawal form from previous school

  • proof of parental identity (driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID.)

Note: If you only have a sales contract for the purchase of a new home as proof of address, the school will enroll your child on the condition that one additional proof of address from the above list is submitted within 30 days. Telephone bills or cable bills are NOT acceptable. If you are living with a friend or relative, you must bring:

  • the residential affidavit, notarized and signed by you and the owner/landlord of the property where you are staying, indicating that it is your place of residence.

  • one proof of the owner/landlord address

  • a form of your personal identification (driver's license, picture ID card, or passport) and the owner's personal identification

If you are new to the Clark County School District, you must also provide these additional items:

For proof of your child's identity, please bring ONE of the following. Photocopies will not be accepted.:

  • original birth certificate

  • passport

  • certified birth card (issued by the Clark County Health District or another health district)

For proof of immunizations, you must have records indicating that your child has had, or at least started, this series of immunizations:

  • 5 DPT shots *

  • 4 Polio shots *

  • 2 MMR shots

  • 2 Hepatitis A shots

  • 3 Hepatitis B shots

  • 2 Chickenpox (Varicella) shots or doctor's note with date of disease

* Note: One dose of DPT and polio must be on or after the child's fourth birthday.

  • proof of parental identity (driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID.)

Step 3

Once both steps above are complete, your child will be assigned to a classroom and teacher. You will receive your classroom placement by mail.
